METASTATIC RENAL CARCINOMA

RCC develops from the proximal tubule cells!

If it hasn't metastasized then there is a 2/3 chance of survival at 5 years.

It is resistant to chemo and radiotherapy, so the only things that work are immunotherapy, "cytoreductive nephrectomy", tyrosine kinase inhibition and VEGF-inhibition because this prevents angiogenesis.
